About Us
Welcome to Cornerstone Lutheran. Our congregation is a new church plant and preaching station affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) Canada. We hold liturgical worship services on Sundays at 9:00 am in Kelowna, British Columbia, hosted by our pastor and his family in their home. Refreshments and fellowship follow at 10:00 am. Our family-oriented congregation offers a warm and welcoming space for members to receive God’s gifts through Word and Sacrament. Please click the link below for our statement of faith.
Our Pastor
Rev. Steve Wiebe is our pastor. He is a professional engineer and entrepreneur. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary, Alberta, a Master of Divinity from the American Lutheran Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and is completing a Doctor of Ministry at Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia. Steve and his wife, Jennifer, married in 2001 and have three children: Luke, Sophia, and Claire. Please contact Steve with any questions about attending or joining our congregation.
